Frequently Asked Questions
Is Talora free?
Yes. The Daily Drop, Slow Reveal, and Voice Impression are all available on the free tier.
How does the photo blur work on Talora?
Photos on Talora begin blurred when you first connect with someone. They sharpen progressively as your conversation deepens — the more you talk, the clearer the photo becomes. This is the Slow Reveal mechanic.
How many matches do you get on Talora per day?
You receive 1–2 match candidates per evening at 19:00 local time.
What is the Daily Drop?
The Daily Drop is Talora's matching event. Every evening at 19:00 local time, users receive one or two curated match candidates. There is no swipe interface — you connect with a real opener or pass.
Do matches or conversations expire on Talora?
No. There are no artificial countdown timers or expiry pressure on conversations. If you don't connect with a candidate from your Daily Drop, your candidate pool simply refreshes at the next 19:00 drop.
How is Talora different from Tinder and Hinge?
Tinder and Hinge rely on infinite swipe feeds, algorithmic urgency, boosts, and gamified validation loops. Talora delivers just 1–2 intentional introductions once a day at 19:00, photos start blurred and sharpen only through genuine conversation, and every profile is verified with a real human voice.
How does message safety and privacy work on Talora?
Talora uses deterministic, client/server pattern filters to hold risky content like phone numbers, external URLs, and financial details until trust is established (contact unlock after 21 messages each). We never run generative AI or sentiment scoring to eavesdrop on private messages.
Is Talora available in my country?
Talora is launching in European Union countries on iOS and Android. Data is hosted in the EU (Germany) under full GDPR compliance.
